Scottish DNA Case Studies

Description

DNA testing is now one of the most important tools available to advance our family tree research but to successfully use DNA test results for genealogy, it's essential to combine them with traditional research.

This presentation will concentrate on several different Scottish case studies that demonstrate what can be achieved when you combine long-established research methodologies with DNA test results analysis.

The case studies will cover:
* verification of family tree lines
* the breaking of brick walls
* the solving of hitherto unfathomable mysteries

Michelle will include lots of her top hints along the way and, while the case studies will be Scottish in nature, the techniques employed can be universally applied across the ancestral spectrum.

This 45-minute talk will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A, hosted by Chris Paton.
