While Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) represent 3% of US colleges and universities, they produce almost 20% of Black college graduates and 25% of Black STEM graduates. As companies invest in diversity, equity, and inclusion in their workplaces, HBCUs are key partners in identifying well-rounded, diverse leaders who are career ready. HBCUs utilize intentional strategies that embed career readiness throughout a student’s tenure. Their unique role in developing the whole student prepares these new hires to transition to the workplace ready to contribute.
In this webinar you will learn:
- How HBCUs embed career readiness throughout their college experience
- How employers look to HBCUs to find diverse talent ready to lead
- How employers and communities can connect with HBCUs to foster more career opportunities for students of color
This webinar was made possible by the generous support of Florida Power & Light.
