Did you know that ice is never the same and even has a memory? Ice is a challenge for the vessels not only during operational period but also at the design stage. Aker Arctic uses its ice tank for ice technology development to be used in ship design. We have made 500 model scale reports and 180 reports from full scale measurements with icebreaking ships.

Register for our webinar and listen to our experts discuss what ice testing needs to be considered when developing new ships or studying different conditions in low temperatures areas such as Arctic. We will also share our design experience starting from model scale and verified by full scale measurements.
