I spy spotted lanternfly: Michigan’s response to the new species detection
First detected in Pennsylvanian in 2014 spotted lanternfly has spread large sections of the east coast and the Midwest. Recently spotted lanternfly was found in Oakland County Michigan. Invasive species specialist Rob Miller of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will provide information on spotted lanternfly and how the state of Michigan and its partners have responded to the arrival of this unwanted pest.
