Session on Sustainable Practices for Food Security and Increased Livelihood in Latin America & Caribbean Food quality and balanced nutrition are at the foundation of human development. However, in the face of climate change, rising poverty, and social disparities it is becoming increasingly difficult for Latin American & Caribbean food producers, from agribusiness to small-scale farmers, to offer food in a sustainable way and on a scale that meets the needs of the growing global and local population. On the second day of the Virtual Summit we will bring together representatives of the key agencies responsible for food production, sustainable agriculture and agribusiness in Latin America and the Caribbean to identify the main issues and practical solutions to Food Security in the region. Presentations will be in English with subtitles.
