Breast Cancer Screening and Diagnosis in 2022
Approximately 287,850 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2022, according to the American Cancer Society. Fortunately, we now have more sophisticated screening tools, like 3D mammography, screening breast ultrasound, and screening breast MRI to better detect breast cancer earlier.

Join us for a free webinar with Dr. Sonja Cerra-Gilch, division head of Breast Imaging and Intervention Radiology Affiliates Imaging at Radiology Partners, who will discuss current screening guidelines for the most common types of breast cancer. Dr. Cerra-Gilch also will discuss in detail screening options, like 3D mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, that are now available to women.

Sonja Cerra-Gilch, MD is a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging and diagnosis of breast cancer. She is section chief of breast imaging at Redeemer Health and has been practicing since 1998 and on staff at Redeemer Health since 2007. She resides in Bucks County with her family including 5 kids and 3 dogs.
