Ananda Roy
Sr. Product Manager, Low-Power Edge AI @Synaptics
Ananda is a Senior Product Manager at Synaptics, leading the Low-Power AI Product Line. Before Synaptics, he worked at Broadcom for eleven years in Applications Engineering for the Wi-Fi Connectivity Business Unit. There he led design wins with top internet service providers such as Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T; with retail router vendors such as Netgear, Linksys, and Belkin; and with their OEMs, such as Arris, Foxconn, and Arcadyan, among others. Prior to Broadcom, he worked at Cypress Semiconductor as an Applications Engineer on their proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless technology, where he won major HID peripheral designs at HP, Logitech, and Apple. He has an MSEE from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California, Davis.
Omar Shrit
Solutions Engineer @Edge Impulse
Omar Shrit is a Solutions Engineer at Edge Impulse, helping customers journey from building TinyML solutions using Edge Impulse products and deploying them back to embedded devices. He holds a PhD in machine learning applications to robotics from the University of Paris Saclay and a Master's degree in networking and telecommunications from Sorbonne University. He lives in Fontainebleau, France and enjoys programming and contributing to open-source software in his spare time.
