Perfectionism, Imposter Syndrome, and Burnout: Issues Facing New and Seasoned Clinicians and Strategies to Address Them

This session aims to describe perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and burnout and how these constructs overlap and vary; identify how these issues impact clinician wellness and clients; learn and practice mindfulness, sensory awareness, gratitude, and expressive arts activities; and make a plan to practice self-care and integrate wellness into organizational culture. Opportunities to collect data and use assessments will also be discussed.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Attendees will identify perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and burnout and how these impact clinician wellness.

Attendees will practice self-compassion, sensory awareness, gratitude, and expressive arts activities.

Attendees will learn how to integrate these practices into their own self-care and advocate for their integration into their work culture.

This webinar is approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers provider #20220014 and will serve as Category 1 credits for all social workers in Oklahoma.
