Fox & Partners Breakfast Briefing: Conducting internal investigations in law firms
Description
With a focus on greater transparency and accountability in relation to how law firms deal with partner misconduct allegations, getting the investigation process right from a regulatory and legal perspective has never been more important. The webinar will explore some key issues arising from internal investigations into partner misconduct in law firms. With the aid of a case study, we will draw on the knowledge of our expert speakers to discuss the steps in the investigation process; the interplay between the objectives of the firm, the accused partner and the SRA; navigating the cultural issues; pitfalls to avoid; and the demanding task of balancing competing interests.
