Stewart Jones is Delivery Director for National Highways Regional Investment Programme in the North West. Stewart joined National Highways (then named Highways England) in 2017 as PMO Director for the Regional Investment Programme, charged with establishing this key function and ensuring controlled delivery. He has over 30 years’ experience of leading projects and programmes in the infrastructure sector. National Highways Regional Delivery Programme will deliver over £5Bn of junction improvements, widening schemes and new bypasses across the country; reducing journey times and increasing the reliability of our motorways and major A-roads. The programme is also driving economic growth, providing opportunities for people and businesses across the country to connect to their customers and to each other.
Nicola Kane
Director @Steer
Nicola Kane joined Steer this month after 8 years at Transport for Greater Manchester, where she was head of strategic planning, insight and innovation. She led the development of Greater Manchester’s award-winning fourth local transport plan (Greater Manchester Transport Strategy for 2040); and a supporting Five-year Transport Delivery Plan which formed the basis of the combined authority’s recent £1bn+ City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement. She also played a key role in developing new policy agendas, such as a Streets for All Strategy and new City Centre Transport Strategy; and new mobility programmes, including e-cargobike, EV car club and e-scooter trials. Nicola has a strong interest in vision-led and integrated planning practices, particularly integrating transport and land-use planning to create more sustainable places. Prior to joining TfGM, Nicola spent 15 years working in consultancy roles at Peter Brett Associates (now Stantec) and JMP Consultants (now SYSTRA).
Justin Moss

Having over 29 years’ experience of rail, electrification, mechanical and electrical projects, with over 19 of these entirely dedicated to the transport industry both pre and post contract. Justin has a proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with the business leaders to provide strategic growth. He is a proven leader within a highly competitive construction and rail industry. He has worked with Siemens since 2011 and is part of the senior team in Siemens Mobility Limited Rail Electrification. Justin also represents the North of England as Chair of RIA North, this role requires the ability to inspire industry to support the Northern Rail Industry and he is passionate about the strategy to provide the transformational change in the region.
