Get to Know Nudge the Good
Nudge the Good is a multi-year project from RW Institute designed to apply behavioral science to the practice of employee giving and volunteering. After over a year of research and support from the likes of Starbucks, Nike, Target and SAP, these behavioral insights are being leveraged to address implicit and unconscious bias, workplace giving rates, and to allow companies to align positive business outcomes with community investments. In this webinar, you will learn about findings from the first completed interventions of applying behavioral science to optimize the results of employee giving and volunteering programs.

The webinar will provide partners and participants:
• Evidence-based methodologies to nudge employees forward in their giving and volunteering journey
• Proven strategies to address persistent social and business barriers (such as DEI efforts) using employee giving and volunteering as experiential learning.
• Tools for managers to help create awareness and understanding of the value of employee giving and volunteering as a management strategy in line with business priorities

Chris Jarvis

Chris Jarvis is a co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Realized Worth, a global agency focused on the design and implementation of employee-led volunteering and giving programs. His work with companies is helping to mobilize employees to make meaningful contributions in the communities where they live and work. In 2015, Chris and his partner, Angela Parker, launched the RW Institute (RWI), a think tank focused on advancing the practice and theory of corporate citizenship through innovative projects, research, analysis and public policy change. RWI is comprised of an association of stakeholders who are committed to removing existing barriers and promoting the practice and theory of corporate volunteering on a global scale. The goal is to help practitioners be more successful – whether they are clients, engaged formally or not. Chris believes the work they do as part of corporate citizenship is vital to addressing the huge social and environmental issues facing our global society.
Kostapanos Miliaressis
Co-Founder of ethelon
Kostapanos, in his early 20s, co-founded ethelon, an organization promoting volunteering in Greek society and creating the adequate framework for cooperation between volunteers, NGOs, and companies. Since then, more than 15,000 volunteers have supported more than 350 nonprofits with more than a million hours of volunteering. He has collaborated with top Fortune 500 companies, received a Fellowship from the United States Department of State, spoke in TEDx events, and featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, in the category of Social Entrepreneurs. Kostapanos now is the Director of Nudge the Good initiative of RW Institute working with a few of the best companies in Corporate Citizenship in the United States, and applies behavioral insights, in their social impact, diversity equity, and inclusion efforts. Kostapanos has explored 47 countries and 20 states, run two marathons, and if you ask him whom he admires the most, he will say his wife Eleana, for her work ethic.
