Session 2: Mental ill-health is not a crime

In many parts of the world, mental ill-health is still a crime, with suicidal behaviour still illegal in more than 20 countries around the world. It’s time to stop that and focus on suicide prevention strategies that work. At this session hosted by the Global Mental Health Action Network’s Suicide Prevention Working Group, join Wendy Orchard, Executive Director of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) along with suicide prevention advocates from around the world, to find out more about why this deserves global attention and to learn how to develop national suicide prevention strategies.
