Description
Is a transplant on the horizon for you or someone you care for?
On Tuesday 13th June at 7.30pm we will be hosting an informative webinar with Professor Steve Chadban, as we learn more about the journey of a transplant.
Steve is a transplant physician and nephrologist who trained in Newcastle, Melbourne and Cambridge. Steve is currently working at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) in Sydney, where he is head of Department and Professor at University of Sydney. Steve runs two research teams, is past President of TSANZ and advises the Commonwealth on CKD and Transplantation. He wants to improve community awareness and understanding of CKD, and in turn PKD, and the outcomes for patients and their supporters.
Professor Chadban will also be joined by Jen Oldershaw who has PKD and had a transplant in 2021, and Dave Stein (Jen's husband) who donated a kidney through Donate Life and the Paired Kidney Exchange. Jen and Dave will share their personal experiences, insights and perspective.
Following the session, there will be opportunity for a Q&A so we encourage you to submit your questions at the time of registration.
