Cairde Cló with Mary Plunkett
The National Print Museum is delighted to announce the third Cairde Cló - a series of virtual visits to "print friends" nationally and internationally.

This visit, chaired by Dave Darcy, is to Mary Plunkett of the Belgrave Private Press. Mary is a designer and printmaker who specialises in relief printmaking and letterpress. She splits her time between making work and education, facilitating workshops and other projects. Her workshop was built to house a press and a few cases of type she acquired in 2014 and now houses a small but (mostly) working collection of metal & woodtype, presses and bookbinding equipment. She’s also a member of Graphic Studio Dublin. She particularly enjoys making books and her work is in the collections of the National Library, TCD, UCD and the British Library, among others. Since 2012 she’s worked with the NPM on a number of projects as letterpress tutor, project artist, training manager and in 2019 she joined the staff as Education Officer.
