Senior Wildlife Biologist @Sensing Nature
As a Senior Wildlife Biologist with over 25 years of wildlife ecology experience and a B.A. in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois, Jeanne Murphy co-owns Sensing Nature, a Florida environmental education, ethical ecotourism and nature products company. Falling in love with Florida at a young age through her snowbird grandparents, Jeanne enjoys connecting people with natural Florida by providing outdoor experiences for conference groups; professional trainings for biologists, teachers and informal educators; hands-on field trips for youths; and interactive nature programs for youths, families, and adults. Living in the Tampa Bay area, Jeanne is passionate about instructing the UF Florida Master Naturalist Program courses, being a member of the statewide FMNP Advisory Board, as well as the Friends of Pinellas Master Naturalists Board, and trying to make positive differences in the state's natural future.
