Grieving is a difficult and complicated process that can be directly impacted by unforgiveness. Together, we will explore the importance of forgiveness on the grief journey and look at how shame, guilt and anger impact the grief experience.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Become familiar with the concept of grief, vulnerability, and the power of forgiveness to self and others.

Explore how personal guilt and blame contribute to not forgiving one’s self and how this can prolong the grief experience.

Explore the difference between helpful guilt, unhelpful guilt, and shame.

Explore what anger associated with the grief looks like and explore healthy ways to express anger.

This webinar is approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers provider #20220014 and will serve as Category 1 credits for all social workers in Oklahoma.
