Building a Learning Organization: How Kata Empowers Team Members to Achieve Organizational Goals and Objectives
The business world is increasingly volatile. Disruption occurs seemingly every day. Organizations stay competitive by acquiring and scaling rapid learning, driving innovation and adaptiveness. The challenge for leaders is how to foster and scale a learning organization.
In this webinar, LEI Faculty and Master Kata Coach, Beth Carrington, will explain how to do just that with kata. In lean management, kata is a teaching model that enables continuous improvement through scientific thinking, enabling organizations to achieve phenomenal results through innovation and adaptiveness.
Skip Steward, Vice President and Chief Improvement Officer at Baptist Memorial Health Care, will share how he has used kata to develop an army of process improvers and problem solvers across the organization.

Robert Wojdelko, Executive Lean Leader at General Electric, will explain how he uses kata to connect the daily problem solving on the shop floor to the company’s high-level objectives.
