Constantine Pleshakov has published six books on geopolitics, war, and revolution, translated into twelve languages. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Amherst College. Pleshakov's most recent book is "The Crimean Nexus: Putin's War and the Clash of Civilizations" (Yale University Press, 2017). He has taught courses in Critical Social Thought, History, International Relations, Political Science, and Russian and Eurasian Studies. Before emigrating to the United States, Pleshakov worked for a foreign policy think-tank in Moscow.

He has published six books on geopolitics, war, and revolution, translated into twelve languages. His most recent book is The Crimean Nexus: Putin's War and the Clash of Civilizations. Other titles include The Tsar's Last Armada: The Epic Voyage to the Battle of Tsushima, Stalin's Folly: The Tragic First Ten Days of World War II on the Eastern Front, and There Is No Freedom Without Bread! 1989 and the Civil War That Brought Down Communism. Dr. Stephen Jones (Professor of Russian Studies @Mount Holyoke College) Dr. Stephen Jones is an expert on post-communist societies in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Jones has briefed the U.S. Department of State on a regular basis, as well as a number of U.S. ambassadors to Georgia. His most recent book is Georgia: From Autocracy to Democracy, co-authored with Neil MacFarlane
