Cathy Adduci, the village president of River Forest, Illinois, will join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute for a virtual conversation at 2:00 p.m. CT Tuesday, August 2.
Adduci and Institute Director John Shaw will discuss the village president's impressive private sector career, her policy agenda for River Forest, and the challenges and opportunities facing her community.
Adduci has been River Forest’s village president since 2013 and previously served as a village board trustee for four years. River Forest is a western suburb of Chicago.
Adduci is on the board of directors for the Illinois Municipal League and is in rotation to become the organization’s president next year. She also serves on the boards for Thrive Counseling Center, Fenwick High School, and the Erickson Institute; she earlier served as a trustee for Northern Illinois University. Adduci is a retired executive vice president and general manager for Unisys Corporation.
