Follow the PIPR to VBP Performance Scores

In November, CMS introduced a helpful new report for home health agencies. The PIPR, which is the new acronym for Pre-Implementation Performance Report, provides home health agencies with data on their quality measure performance used in the expanded Value-Based Purchasing Model.

PIPRs also provide comparison to home health agencies nationally within peer cohorts, and offer a preview of where each agency’s performance may fall in relation to the new baseline year of CY 2022.

The PIPRs are available for download from the Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES).
