Maintaining Disinfection Residuals

Maintaining adequate disinfection residuals in the distribution system is vital to delivering safe, potable water to customers. This session will discuss disinfectant residual requirements. The session will also highlight factors that contribute to disinfectant residual loss, discuss best management practices, and present a tool that can be used to ensure that disinfection residuals are maintained and accurately sampled for in the distribution system.
