Responsible Employee Use of Social Media

Join attorney John Janssen for this interactive webinar to review the rights and responsibilities of public school employees regarding social media and other forms of electronic communication. Participants will learn to distinguish between professional and private communication and the extent to which employers can regulate the social media of their employees. Even private use of social media can have implications for public employment, especially public education. This session will address recommended policies and procedures and include a discussion of several hypothetical scenarios.
