xGen NGS Hybridization Capture – your flexible solution for targeted sequencing
Hybridization capture is a method of targeted next generation sequencing. DNA or RNA samples are converted into sequencing libraries and then regions of interest within the library are captured using biotinylated oligonucleotide probes (also referred to as baits). Hybridization capture’s capacity for mutation discovery makes it particularly suited to cancer research. Field Application Scientist NGS Germany & Austria @Integrated DNA Technologies
Julia is a member of the IDT NGS Field Applications Team in Europe, where she provides support to researchers using IDT’s range of xGen NGS solutions in the field. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Poland and received a PhD in Molecular Biology from University of Freiburg in Germany. Prior to joining IDT, Julia worked as a PhD candidate and post-doc at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics where she gained experience in the fields of Epigenetics, Epitranscriptomics and RNA Biology.
