Prof. Christian Prünte, MD (Professor & Medical Director @University Hospital of Basel)
Prof. Christian Prünte is an internationally recognized clinical researcher focused on wet age-related macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in older people. He is Medical Director of the Eye Clinic at University Hospital Basel and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at Kantonsspital Baselland in Liestal. He also is Head Clinical Trial Center Platform at the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB).

Dr. Alexander Bausch, Ph.D., MTE (IMD) (CEO @Kinarus Therapeutics)
Dr. Alexander Bausch is Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors at Kinarus. He has extensive commercial, development, and executive leadership expertise from his 20-year career in industry. Prior to founding Kinarus, he consulted for venture capital funds and small biotech companies. While at Hoffmann La Roche, Dr. Bausch led research and development teams, advancing more than 10 drug-candidates, across seven therapeutic areas and in all stages of development. Early in his Roche career, as an expert in formulation research, aerosol development, and powder technology, Dr. Bausch served as head of solid dosage form development. Dr. Bausch is a pharmacist by training and obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Basel.
