Richard Osborne is an ambitious, influential entrepreneur who has been a champion of the small and micro-business sector for the past thirty years. He started his first “proper” business in 1999 and has grown a number of highly successful technology and social media companies including UKBF which he purchased in 2005 and re-acquired in 2021. Richard is widely regarded as an authority in the company formations sector. In 2002 he established multi-award winning Quick Formations, one of the industry's most prominent formation agents, before transitioning to launch business start-up platform eFiling in 2008, which today is part of the Business Data Group product suite. Passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs, Richard is a coach, mentor and governor of a special needs education trust and supports the Careers & Enterprise Company with its SEND agenda. Richard also works tirelessly to inspire disengaged youth into work and employment opportunities.

Mark Jones is the founder of UK based business finance broker, Fit Out Finance. With over thirty years’ experience in the leasing and asset finance industry, Mark started his career with the subsidiary of a major bank before establishing his own brokerage firm on the cusp of a major recession in 1988. Mark’s significant knowledge is enhanced by first-hand experiences of the challenges small and micro-businesses face when it comes to planning and securing finance. In the wake of the banking crash of 2008, Mark worked as a consultant to the Government New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) scheme, where he mentored fledgeling businesses and delivered courses on all aspects of business start up. Mark believes that when you have seen things go wrong, you can truly understand how they work. He has clear views on the use and abuse of debt as a business tool and is generous with his advice to small business owners.
