2022 CRB Webinar Series: Citrus Leprosis Disease and Summer/Fall IPM Practices

In this webinar, Dr. Sandipa Gautam will cover two different topics:

Citrus leprosis:

This section will introduce citrus leprosis disease, causal agent, disease symptoms and identification, and how it affects citrus. Current disease distribution and its implication on California citrus, vectors, and its distribution, identification, and management will also be covered.

Summer/Fall IPM practices:

A review of summer/fall pest problems for the San Joaquin Valley and best management practices will be covered. The second half of the talk will focus on pest management practices for summer, fall and will focus on California red scale, citricola scale, Fuller rose beetle, and citrus mealybug. Biology, monitoring, and management options will be discussed.

Greg Douhan, Ph. D., Area Citrus Advisor, Cooperative Extension - Tulare County - will be opening the webinar with a regional farm advisers update.

CE Units:

One DPR CE unit (other) and one CCA CE unit (IPM).

Just as a reminder, here are the requirements for receiving the CEUs:
-register separately with your own name and email address and log in from your own device
-participate in the entire session
-complete and pass a final test with 70% or higher; if not passed, the test can be retaken
