Leading with a Hospitality Mindset
Senior living operators tend to spend their time focusing on the performance of each of their departments individually. But much like a General Manager in a hospitality operation, truly successful ones create an environment where the entire team focuses on customer service and how their positions relate to the overall goal of creating hospitality and connection within the community. In this session, Aaron will share with senior living leaders his keys elements for creating a truly successful hospitality environment in our senior living operation. The presentation takes a holistic approach and discusses the leadership tools and knowledge to be impactful with employees. Additionally, he will highlight potential service bottlenecks and help attendees identify and fix them.

Learning Objectives:
i. Discuss how senior living leaders can develop a hospitality-forward leadership approach
ii. Understand the value and need for a repeatable and trainable service recovery process
iii. Give leaders strategies and tools to create and implement an environment for hospitality & teamwork in their communities
