Julian Jenkins
Senior Director of Regional Recruiting @Next College Student Athlete
As a high school football player, I was recognized as the Gatorade Player of the Year in Georgia, named to the Sports Illustrated and Rivals top 100 in addition to being a 1st Team All-American. Realizing the importance of my education, I maximized my recruiting potential by attending the right collegiate fit, academically and athletically. I ultimately decided on Stanford University, where I was a three-year starter, two-year captain, and All Pac-Ten honoree. Drafted in the 5th Round into the NFL by Tampa Bay, I played for the Bucs and Denver Broncos before finishing my professional career in the CFL as a Grey Cup Champion with the Calgary Stampeders. With a passionate message that emphasizes the importance of education, I look forward to helping families across the country achieve success in the college sports recruiting process.
Jack Renkens
Founder and National Speaker @Recruiting Realities
When it comes to collegiate athletic-recruiting, Jack Renkens has seen it all. From his days as a high school basketball coach, administrator and teacher, through his time as a coach and athletic director at an award-winning NCAA Division II school, Jack has witnessed the recruiting game from both sides. But it wasn’t until his own daughter became a nationally recruited basketball player that he discovered not only how little most student-athletes and their families knew about the recruiting process, but also how many myths existed. As a result, Jack founded Recruiting Realities, an organization dedicated to exploding the myths and presenting the realities of athletic recruiting to student-athletes, their families, coaches and school counselors. Jack’s highly sought-after program has been presented over 4,000 seminars.
