Building a Teledentistry Program That Expands Access and Increases Equity

Teledentistry is growing in popularity in oral health. It can open doors to access to hard-to-reach populations, help provide critical education on prevention, and triage patients’ needs to increase efficiency and reduce costs. It can be a useful tool for both providers and patients within both urban and rural communities.

But it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution.

In this practical webinar, our expert panel — including both a private practice dentist and a public health dentist — will discuss how to set up different types of teledentistry programs. They’ll explore different team structures, rules and regulations, workflows, and technology, showing how the right setup can create a better care experience for patients and providers. Participants will also learn common pitfalls to avoid and common misconceptions to look beyond when creating a teledentistry program.
