プラスチックの新たなリサイクル技術が各国で次々と開発されています。廃プラスチックをバージンに近い再生樹脂に戻す水平リサイクルが視野に入ってきました。
そこで、本シンポジウムでは、国内外の様々な高度マテリアル＆ケミカルリサイクル技術を紹介し、近未来のカーボンニュートラルなプラスチック資源循環の姿を展望します。

There is an explosion of new technologies and innovations for plastic recycling in many countries. Now is the time for us to consider Closed-loop recycling, in which waste plastics are recycled nearly equivalent to virgin material.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government organizes an online symposium regarding plastic recycling technologies together with Plastic Packaging Recycling Council, a consortium of companies which are related to plastic containers and packaging.
This symposium will introduce you a variety of advanced technologies for both material and chemical recycling from Japan and beyond. We will also talk about the future prospects of sustainable use of plastics achieving carbon neutrality.
