How to access university at school through the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES)
The Victorian School Building Authority are building the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES) to further improve educational outcomes for high-achieving and high-ability senior secondary school students across Victoria.

CHES aims to support students to move confidently into university life, including access to masterclasses and mentoring with university students and academics throughout the year.

Students and families are invited to join us online to learn more about Higher Education Studies with CHES in 2023.

In partnership with universities, CHES will provide a head start into university for students by offering a wide range of first-year university subjects, known as Higher Education Studies (HES).

Higher Education Studies supports the potential for students to gain ATAR points and university credits while completing their VCE studies at their current school.

Students who are accepted into a HES will have access to our Student Enrichment Series, which will be presented by universities and industry leaders.

Students who participate at CHES remain enrolled at their chosen government school. There are no enrolment costs for university programs, student services, enrichment events and activities.

We will be running online information sessions on:

- Thursday 14 July 2022 - 6:30 pm
- Tuesday 19 July 2022 - 6:30 pm

The sessions will cover the same content and provide greater detail on the program, application process, events and partnerships with universities.

Please register your attendance to the session that best suits your availability. A recording of the session will be circulated post event.
