The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Single Parent Families will ask how the Child Maintenance Service (CMS) can work better for single parents and their children, and what can be done to improve the service. It will consider the success with which it supports the paying of child living costs and demonstrate the lived experience of single parents using the CMS.
The event will be chaired by Rupa Huq, Labour MP for Ealing Central and Acton, and speakers will include Victoria Benson, CEO of Gingerbread, the national charity for single parents.
We would be delighted if you could join us to hear more about why the CMS must work for single parents and their children and where the service is need of improvements. Please register below to join the session.
