Marine Mammals In & Around Nantucket Sound
Join us for our free webinar series, "A Celebration of Nantucket Sound" (ACONS). Our guest speaker for this November 18th episode will be Regina Asmutis-Silva, Executive Director and Senior Biologist for Whale and Dolphin Conservation-North America. Regina has been active in whale research, conservation and education since 1990. Her publication topics include studies on humpback whales, entanglement mitigation, vessel strikes, and approaches to protect endangered species. She has undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry and a graduate degree in biology.

For this webinar, Regina will explore the role of marine mammals in and around Nantucket Sound and talk about the ecological role that whales play.
