Brian Colburn

Brian began a long career in public service first serving as a United States Marine, Executive Protection, and EMT in Los Angeles County responding to 911 emergency calls. After suffering an injury as an EMT, he went back to school for web development. There Brian gained a podcasting passion. “Boag World” the first podcast discussing Web Development back in 2005 was his introduction to the medium, the same year Apple added podcasts to the iPod. In 2008 he produced a show for a social club. In December 2016, Brian gave his friend some advice on expanding his classroom by adding a podcast. That led to the creation of EM Weekly. Brian became the executive producer and co-creator of EM Weekly and EM Student. Those two podcasts opened the door for Brian to add additional shows and the creation of Sitch Radio.
