An Update on Marin County Issues
Stephanie Moulton-Peters, Marin County District 3 Supervisor, will cover the Board of Supervisors’ recent actions regarding the future of Golden Gate Village housing, how the County is addressing the State mandated Housing Element, the challenge of addressing homelessness, efforts to provide for a Sheriff’s oversight body and the County’s continued efforts to manage Covid. Supervisor Moulton-Peters will share how and why she came to be involved in public service, and how she approaches the important issues facing the County.

Stephanie Moulton-Peters is the Marin County Supervisor for District 3. which includes Belvedere, Mill Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon, and unincorporated areas of Marin City. Stephanie is Chair of the Transportation Authority of Marin, the Marin Transit District, and BayWave, Marin’s Sea Level Rise Collaborative. She serves on the Board of Supervisors’ Climate Change Committee and a represents Marin County on the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC),. She also serves on the Marin Housing Authority, Marin Flood and Water Conservation District, and others. Ms. Moulton-Peters served three terms on the Mill Valley Council and as Mayor. She worked at PG&E Company managing environmental regulatory compliance for air, water, and toxic substances and climate change programs. A graduate of Stanford University with a concentration in environmental policy, Stephanie and her husband live in Mill Valley, and have two adult sons.
