Gate Burton Energy Park digital consultation - Thursday 7 July

Low Carbon would like your views on our proposals for a new solar and energy storage park that we are proposing to build on land near Gate Burton, Lincolnshire.

Gate Burton Energy Park has the potential to generate around 500 megawatts (MW) of electricity - enough clean energy to power over 160,000 homes and avoid more than 100,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.

We are carrying out a second stage of consultation on our updated proposals for the project after having refined the early-stage proposals we presented during an initial stage of consultation we held earlier this year.

Consultation is open from 22 June to 5 August 2022.

During this time we’d like you tell us what you think about our proposals for the project and how they have evolved since our earlier consultation. We will consider the feedback you provide to help finalise our detailed proposals and submit an application for development consent to the Planning Inspectorate.

Join us on Thursday 7 July to meet the project team, find out more about our proposals, ask any questions you might have, and provide your feedback.
