Friends Marketing Tune-Up Clinic
“Marketing” may be one of the most misunderstood words and concepts in the English language. With this in mind, we hope you will join MALF on Wednesday, April 6 (12:00-1:30 p.m. Central) for a special “Friends Marketing Tune-Up Clinic.”

Our first webinar of 2022 will be led by Kathy Dempsey, the self-proclaimed Accidental Library Marketer and an acknowledged expert in the field.

Questions to be addressed by this 90-minute session include:

1. We cannot seem to attract new audiences. Does our work require audience segmentation and new approaches? What does market segmenting look like in practice?
2. Who should lead our marketing efforts? Our volunteers feel stretched thin as it is.
3. Is our brand satisfactory? Is it doing our work a disservice? What’s considered ‘best’?
4. Are we really moving towards a paperless age? What kind of print collateral is worth the investment? Where do we find affordable graphic designers?
