Brindha Shivalingam
Associate Professor @RPA, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse
Dr Brindha Shivalingam is the Director of Neurosurgery at The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Neurosurgeon at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has a special interest in Neuro Oncology and Skull base surgery with a fellowship from Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge UK. Brindha is passionate about improving outcomes for patients with brain cancer.
Dr. Joanne Sy
Neuropathologist
Dr Joanne Sy is a consultant pathologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. She spent two years in subspecialty neuropathology training at the University of Western Ontario, London Ontario, Canada. Dr Sy is currently the neuropathology co-convenor in the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology. She is also a trainee supervisor and enjoys teaching pathology to registrars.
Michael Buckland
Associate Professor @Chris O'Brien Lifehouse
Michael is a senior staff specialist and head of the Department of Neuropathology at RPA Hospital. Michael has a longstanding interest and expertise in the integration of histology and molecular diagnostics for brain tumour classification. His research interests include understanding the evolution of molecular heterogeneity in gliomas, as well as blood-based biomarkers for brain tumour diagnosis and monitoring treatment response.

Dr Laveniya Satgunaseelan is a staff specialist in the Department of Neuropathology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, with an interest in cancer genomics.
