For those of you living in a Common Interest Community, like an HOA, POA, Condominium, or Cooperative, navigating the complex laws affecting communities like the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”) and the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act can be daunting. It is important though, for residents of Common Interest Communities, board members, and community association managers to understand these laws and how they affect basic rights and responsibilities. On Friday, March 28, we invite you to join the HOA Information Officer who will discuss the HOA Center’s role and discuss the various rights and responsibilities for homeowners and board members living in Common Interest Communities. This useful discussion should help attendees better understand different situations in their own communities.
