Mitch Carswell, CPE
Project Lead @Sandalwood Engineering and Ergonomics
Mitch Carswell is a Project Lead for Sandalwood Engineering and Ergonomics. He joined Sandalwood in 2018 following an internship at Ford Oakville. Since joining Sandalwood he has worked with many different clients primarily in the manufacturing sector and focuses on physical ergonomics and working to engineer potential hazards out of the workstation. He has also worked on several research projects looking into physical assessment tools, exoskeletons, and virtual reality. Recently, Mitch has taken on the role as a digital human modelling specialist working with many different DHM software and looks to provide insight to our clients on a solution that is right for them.
Bruce Bradtmiller, PhD
Senior Consulting Scientist @Anthrotech
Dr. Bruce Bradtmiller, a physical anthropologist, is Senior Consulting Scientist at Anthrotech. Since joining the firm in 1983 Dr. Bradtmiller has designed, conducted, and directed a number of body size surveys and other anthropometric research projects. He has worked on anthropometric accommodation for an array of products including respirators, eyewear, helmets, gloves, dress and functional clothing, chemical protective garments, implantable cardiac defibrillators, automotive lumbar supports, infant car seats and breast pumps.
