Mystery Readers Group
The Mystery Readers Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m., with a different topic or guest author at each meeting.

First-timers are always welcome!

- August 17: Mysteries Written by and/or about Journalists
This month, our group takes on some great mysteries actually written by reporters, or featuring characters who are reporters serving as amateur detectives. From K.K. Beck, to Margaret Coel, Lillian Jackson Braun, and J.A. Jance, we’ll cover our favorite authors on the reporter mystery beat – and invite you to share your own favorites from this realm!

- September 21: Crime-Fighting Pets
This month, we’ll talk about animal co-sleuths in mystery books. From Maggie, the PTSD-suffering German Shepard in Suspect by Robert Crais; to the baby elephant with a trunk for justice in The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra by Vaseem Khan, we’ll sniff out some great tales together.
