She is a teacher, having taught in Carlow and Galway prior to working first with the Edmund Rice Trust, then with Trócaire, and subsequently with the Irish Bishops’ Conference, where she was National Director for Catechetics and Coordinator of the National Faith Development Team. She has worked for the CEIST Schools Trust since 2020 and is presently chaplain at St Brendan’s Community School, Birr.
