She is passionate about improving the lives of people with painful osteoarthritis by partnering with consumers to produce meaningful, impactful solutions. She is the inaugural John Stuart Colville Fellow (via Arthritis SA) – this research translation fellowship supports her consumer-driven osteoarthritis research. Via this fellowship, Dr. Braithwaite is working to improve societal knowledge and understanding about osteoarthritis and, therefore, its management.
