Wastewater Surveillance in Illinois: Lessons from COVID-19 and Future Directions
In collaboration with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, the Water Environment Federation is pleased to host this virtual panel discussion on wastewater surveillance in Illinois. Join us to learn about the COVID-19 wastewater testing programs run by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the City of Chicago Department of Public Health, the role that the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District and other utilities play in wastewater surveillance programs, and the future of wastewater surveillance in Illinois. Panelists will present one or two key learnings from COVID-19 and their thoughts on the next two years of wastewater surveillance. Their presentations will be followed by a discussion focused on questions from the audience.
