P.E.P. Webinars x DyNAMic Discussions: Frameworks for establishing scientific confidence in new approach methodologies: Part 2
Regulatory Toxicology has reached a tipping point – animal tests are increasingly outmoded by New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) that offer the potential to improve human health and environmental protection. So why has the transition out of animal testing and into a NAM-based approach to Chemical Safety Assessment taken so long? And what can we collectively do to accelerate this transition? This seminar series aims to explore these questions by inviting speakers to share candid perspectives on how they’ve overcome barriers to apply NAMs in their fields and discussing how we can learn from these examples to increase NAM use together.

We are excited to combine DyNAMic Discussions with the P.E.P. Webinar Series on NAMs for Risk Assessment, co-organized by PETA Science Consortium International, the US EPA, and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, for this session.

The recording and other materials from this webinar will be made available through the dynamic learning portal (pcrm.org/dynamic) and PEP webinar archive (https://www.thepsci.eu/nam-webinars/).
