Serving Vector Data with Geoserver

Geoserver is an open source GIS server that can share raster and vector data to the web, desktop, and mobile applications using various standard web services, such as WMS/WMTS and WFS. Building upon our previous webinar which discussed serving raster data, this webinar demonstrates how to share vector data from various sources, including Geopackage, Shapefile, and PostGIS. We will also discuss layer symbology, caching, Geoserver extensions, and the use of alternative output formats, such as vector tiles and Geopackage. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we will review some security best practices when handling vector data.
