Community Coping After the July 4th Parade Shooting--and Confronting Ongoing Gun Violence in Communities and Cities Across the U.S.

Wednesday August 10th, 7:30-8:45pm
All adults 18+ are welcome to attend.

We invite all impacted by the July 4th mass shooting in Highland Park—as well as the horrific ongoing gun violence in Chicago, North Chicago, Waukegan and elsewhere--to the fourth in our series of Zoom community engagement and support groups. The event will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 pm this Wednesday, Aug. 10th. Kim Dennis, MD, Marcia Nickow, Psy.D., CADC, and bilingual therapist Sheila Mendoza, MSW, will co-facilitate the group. We offer a safe and open space for discussion, solidarity and connection.

We plan to continue these community engagement and support groups on a monthly basis. The next series will be held from 6 to 7:15 pm Wednesdays Sept 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7.
All interested are warmly welcomed.
