A Voice at the Table, the Pioneer Valley Coalition for Suicide Prevention & MA DMH have collaborated to present a series of wellness workshops for families and close friends impacted by the suicidal crisis of their loved ones, including those who also experience domestic violence and/or substance abuse. There will be two workshops a month from September through December. A second series will run from January through March
For every person struggling with suicide, there are impacted family members and friends that experience emotional and physical effects related to their loved one’s struggle. We may experience a lack of support, and our own mental health can suffer. Secondary PTS is very common.
The purpose of these workshops is to guide attendees through the documented process that has begun to shatter the isolation and marginalization of all who identify as “impacted family.” Each "Finding Inner Peace" wellness workshop will run for 2-hours with two to three interactive exercises.
These are peer2peer workshops, not clinical therapy. There will be eight sessions, two each month from September through December. You can attend one or all eight.
The first two are
September 18 at 10:00 am to Noon ET
September 28, 7:00 to 9:00 pm ET.

NOTE: Although the registration process has the “webinar” format, all participants will be welcomed to the table on screen and mics activated.
