About Jai Kandayah

Jai Kandayah and his wife Vicky own and operate Curry Leaves Bistro, a new Pleasanton restaurant recently named by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the Top Tri-Valley Restaurants. Jai grew up in Penang, Malaysia, exposed to its rich food culture as he learned how to cook from “my mother, my grandmother, aunts, friends and believe me, from my friends’ mothers!”
