Andrea Segrè: Full professor of International and Comparative Agricultural Policy since 2000, and professor of Circular Economy, University of Trento (2015-2018). Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (2005-2012) and Chairman of the Department of Food Science (2012-2015), his research is focused on circular and sustainable ecological economics. Founder of Last Minute Market, academic spin off, and of Zero Waste Campaign, professor Segrè is scientific director of Waste Watcher International Observatory on Food and Sustainability. In 2012 he was awarded with the Pellegrino Artusi International Prize and San Giusto d'Oro Award in 2020. He authored a number of scientific articles on international and national Journals, last books: Parole del nostro tempo with Matteo Zuppi (2020) and E poi? The initiative promotes the Mediterranean Diet as a balanced dietary model and style that counteracts food waste; the importance of the connection between food and sustainability and between biodiversity and food diversity; the fight against labeling systems; the protection of protected and controlled denomination products and the fight against the phenomenon of Italian Sounding.
